Lead Day: Rachel Maddox - Orlando Magic
Throughout the school year local professionals in the community will come out to BridgePrep Academy of Orange to share with Middle School students about their careers and the steps it took to get into their positions of expertise.
Our first Lead Day presenter for the school year was Rache Maddox, Ticket Sales Representative with the Orlando Magic. Her degree is in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Central Florida.
At the end of Ms. Maddox's presentation, students were able to ask her questions about her job to who her favorite basketball player is.
Ms. Maddox also brought some prizes for students to earn through good behavior with our BPA Bulldog Bucks initiative. Students were especially encouraged to make a goal of earning as many Bulldog Bucks as possible to earn a chance to see a Magic game in the near future.
