Are you coming to the BridgePrep Academy of Orange African American History Month Night of the Arts? It will be held in the school cafeteria on Wednesday, February 28th from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
BPA Families,
We have an extravaganza of African American history, culture, and arts to feature as instructed by our Fine Arts teachers and demonstrated through the talented students of BridgePrep Academy.
We welcome all to come out on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 to celebrate African American History Month with us through musical ensembles and a finale art show presented by our sponsor Artomé.
Time: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
The cost for admission is free.
Parents Note: All students who participate in Visual Arts class K - 7th grades, have created a work of art inspired by select African American artists from history. The student artwork will be on display at the end of the student performances and available for purchase in a custom-made picture frame. The cost of the picture frame is $25. A portion of the money raised will go back to BridgePrep Academy of Orange's Visual Arts Department to benefit student achievement and continued creation of amazing artworks for the remainder of the school year and in the years to come.
If you are unable to attend the Night of the Arts, but would still like to purchase your child's framed-artwork, it can be pre-ordered through your child's homeroom teacher. Send a check through your child made payable to: BridgePrep Academy of Orange for: framed artwork in the amount of $25. With pre-orders, your child's artwork will be set aside so that the parent can pick it up at a more convenient time. Additionally, parents may also purchase a color reproduction of their child's artwork for $25 in another frame for other family members that want to have a copy also.
